Prince Oargev ir'Wynarn
Prince Oargev ir'Wynarn is the sole remaining heir of the Cyran royal family. He aims to gather Cyran refugees to his town, New Cyre, in Breland.
Prince Oargev ir’Wynarn is the sole surviving child of Queen Dannel of Cyre. On the Day of Mourning, he was serving as ambassador to the Brelish court of King Boranel in Wroat.
In the wake of that terrible event, thousands of Cyrans lucky enough to have been able to flee before the dead-grey mists engulfed their homeland made their way into Brelish territory. The capacity of Breland’s hastily-constructed refugee camps was soon overwhelmed; King Boranel and Prince Oargev saw the need for a more permanent solution.
New Cyre was the answer. A semi-independent town, within Breland but subject to Cyran authority under Oargev, New Cyre has become the home of nearly four thousand displaced Cyrans. Oargev concentrates most of his efforts on reaching out to other Cyran refugee communities across the Five Nations, and attempting to persuade other governments to fund their relocation to his colony.
The prince also sponsors a society of adventurous Cyran patriots called the Covenant of the Grey Mist. Members of the Covenant mount semi-regular expeditions into the Mournland, battling its horrors to retrieve whatever valuable items and clues to the cause of the Mourning they can from their devastated homeland.
